   After you learned you had the week off you wasted no time in pestering Alfred to take you back home. You were in dire need of a shower. Not only that but wearing the celebrities clothes constantly made you blush as your mind kept reverting back to Alfred's body. You just tried to think of the positives; it was better than wearing the piece of clothing that used to be your shirt, if you wore that then you should have just pranced around in your underwear. Realizing these factors Alfred reluctantly agreed, taking you home in his rather large black hummer. You of course remembered to thank him, even slipping a few ten dollar bills by his bedside, (he refused to let you pay him, saying it would be very 'un-heroic', but you insisted anyway even though it probably wouldn't matter considering his salary, but you had to pay him back somehow).
   On that thought you became depressed, knowing full well there was a slim chance you would even see the blue eyed man again. Leaning back on the white couch in your apartment you did an exaggerated sigh; you were always home alone so it didn't matter, your roommates moved out ages ago. As your free week flew by you happened to notice Alfred's was turning out the exact opposite of yours. With the new action movie coming out in a few weeks the last few shots were becoming hectic, them being mostly battle scenes, so you mainly just watched updates of the movies progress on the news. Each time you saw Alfred you couldn't help but giggle as he looked so serious. Being with him for a day Alfred involuntarily showed you how he truly acted, which was the exact opposite from what he portrayed. Remembering how badly the streets looked you also couldn't help cracking a smile at the destruction the director was causing, many streets you passed by for work looking like a war zone. Your smirk turned into a full on grin as you felt satisfied upon imagining how many of your over privileged idiotic coworkers were probably being fired by Mrs.Wellman. But remembering you had to go back tomorrow anyway your enjoyment was short lived. It just wasn't the fact of having to face the blond haired demon, but you might run into Alfred. Ever since you woke up that fateful day whenever you thought about him you got a queasy feeling, almost as if you were excited. It reminded you of your high school crushes, and you didn't like it.
   You knew that you were probably falling for the hunk, but that's not what upset you. You knew there was no, and if possible, slim chance he returned those feelings. You saw numerous girls that were much more beautiful than you, ones more fashionable, hip, popular. They were all just better, and that's all that mattered. That's why you knew he would never love you, because he could do better. That was also another reason why you were unable to see him, you were just too embarrassed of not what happened but of your feelings. You looked back to your T.V. its lights being the only thing giving off a glow. Seeing Alfred run for his life down the street from a secret camera set up on an apartment building you chuckled, wondering what he might say about that scene when he gets jumped most likely in the next week by paparazzi. You then decided to go to bed, it's not like you have anything else better to do and you had to get up early anyway. Turning the T.V. off you got up, heading to your bedroom wondering what the next day had in store for you.

    ~~~ OOOHH LOOKI! ANOTHER TIME SKIP! THIS ONE'S NAMED STEVE! BYE NOW! :D ~~~
   Heading to work the next morning didn't turn out as horrible as you thought it would, getting up an hour or so ahead from when you usually wake up you thought you might be early for work. Apparently the actors had enough of working outdoors for a while and instead went back to their original location, much to your amusement. After another hour or so of traffic you finally made it to work, turning into the parking lot. Driving by the reserved spots as usual you happened to turn your head in their direction, what you managed to see made you do a double take. You slammed on the brakes, reversing a bit only to prove your eyes didn't betray you. Lying before you, the plaque had your first and last name, right below it your eyes almost popped out of your skull as you read 'Head Apparel Designer'. Last week you were just the lowly secretary delivery boy, and yet here in gold letters a little piece of metal had pronounced you as head designer. Sitting there with your car running, you were brought out of your trance by a few fellow pissed off drivers behind you, and with a muttered apology in their direction you parked your car into your new spot. Not wasting anytime you rushed into the building, almost jamming the elevator button as you pressed it. There had to be some mistake, you knew it, and if it wasn't, then this was all probably an elaborate prank or scheme invented by your boss to let you know she let you go. That's probably why you had the week off, you reasoned. You should have never let Alfred talk to her; your knees began to feel weak as the dread was making its presence upon you, the realization setting in.
   Before you knew it though the doors had opened, and your head snapped up to see that everyone on your floor had stopped what they were doing and were staring at you. Taking in the fact you probably looked like you've seen a ghost you straightened your back and puffed your chest out a little, and then with all eyes still on you, you tried your best to walk confidently, trying to not freak out from the attention as you looked forward, determined to make it to your boss's office. You were going to get to the bottom of this if it killed you. Seeing her door you then put on the best grin you could muster, she could smell fear a mile away. With all your co-workers still staring at you, you unfortunately forgot that your boss also liked her privacy. That would explain why as you barged into her office, a look of horror crossed your features as you forgot to knock. The last person who forgot to knock was knocked out, but by the security guard of course, Mrs.Wellman would never do such a thing for fear of breaking her nail, as she had so told you once. You tried to cover up your fear as she turned around in her chair with a scowl, and as she laid eyes upon your form you knew you were a goner, that is, until her face formed in to a look of delight.
   "Oh, darling! Just the person I wanted to see! Come in, come in, and shut the door behind you, I don't want anybody hearing" your boss said. With apprehension you did as told, and still not believing the fact that she would be happy to see you, you kept your guard up, especially considering she didn't want anyone to hear your conversation. In your mind that meant she was probably going to kill you, which would explain the way she's been acting, the old bat has finally gone crazy. "What are you doing still standing? Take a seat dear, don't be shy! I hope you're feeling better, your… oh what would we call him… 'friend' has told me what happened" your boss continued in a sweet and concerned tone. Oh. You finally understood why she was acting like this, why everyone stared at you so eagerly earlier. Somehow everyone had found out of your little escapade. Finally understanding you sat down in one of the plush looking chairs.
   "Ah, yes, I am feeling better, the week off really helped. But I couldn't help but notice coming into work today I have been promoted?" you asked hesitantly, the thought of being fired still lingering in your mind.
   "Oh you noticed! As of now you're my new head designer, besides me you have the highest position in the workplace!" shouted you boss eagerly, making you jump. "I happened to realize your skills were not being used to their full potential so I moved you up" she casually continued. Even though you were ecstatic at the news at the same time you felt anxiety start to weigh down on you. With you now in top position you couldn't help but wonder what happened to the girl whose place you took. Not only that but you weren't stupid, the only reasons these things were happening was because of meeting Alfred, not because of some amazing skill you had. Even though you refused to let your depression show, and just nodded eagerly in response to your boss's excitement.
   "Well in that case I can't thank you enough Mrs. Wellman, and trust me, I won't disappoint you, in fact I should head off and complete the assignment you gave me before I left-" you started, but got cut off by your boss's frantic voice.
   "Oh heavens no, sweetie! Take as much time as you need! I don't need your hero's outfit until a few weeks, so no rush! In fact why don't you go out today for lunch? On me" she said, getting up and handing you a shiny plastic card. Too shocked to speak by her hospitality you grasped the hard plastic in your hands, nodding numbly while mumbling a thank you. She just chuckled in response as she ushered you out the door, mumbling a goodbye as she shut the door behind you. Looking down you suppressed a gasp as you read one hundred dollars on the gift card she handed you. At the moment you didn't know if you should have felt more pissed, happy, excited or sad. You were angered at the fact she let slip that all the assignments she gave you were all rushed for no reason, and sad because you knew you were getting unfair treatment. You sighed, running the hand that wasn't clutching the card through your (h/l), (h/c) hair. Since it was naturally (curly, straight, wavy, etc…) and you didn't do much with it this morning, you couldn't care what happened to it, the natural look was in these days anyway.
   You just tousled it a bit as you walked back into the main area, having to go through it to make your way to the more secluded part of the floor, or where your office was located. You ignored the obvious gossip of everyone around you as you walked up to the dark wooden door down the hall from you. Never really being over here you didn't know what to expect, but as soon as you opened the heavy well-built door you were left speechless. The room before you was almost like your boss's, except smaller and the décor was different. It had a French theme to it, with full windows, ceiling to floor, behind the area you sat. But with the sun streaming in through the windows it was the view that made you fall in love with the room. You ran to your (now) own swivel chair, and as you jumped into it you stopped right in front of the glass windows. Taking in the view of almost the entire city you also got the side where the ocean was located, so you were able to watch the sun reflect off the waves, making the scene all the prettier. You just sighed in content, forgetting what you were worried about earlier, letting the problem of Alfred slip your mind.
   ~~~OH NOES READER-CHAN BE FORGETFUL WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? READ AND FIND OUT OHOHOHOO~~~

   After getting settled in and placing your old items around in the way you wanted them you decided to get some work done. As you were writing down a few notes, you happened to hear a noise. You stopped writing and looked up in curiosity. Hearing the noise again your face flushed from embarrassment; even though no one was in the room you were still embarrassed about your own stupidity, for you realized the noises were your starving stomach. Looking at the time and seeing it was well into noon you decided lunch wasn't too bad of an idea, and with the hundred dollar gift card you definitely wanted to go out. Leaving your work you grabbed your purse, once again ignoring your nosy co-workers as you made your way to the elevator. Pressing the lobby button your mind began to wander off as the descent as you know would normally take a while. 'It's so nice to finally not have much to worry about much after a year of duteous hard work, the only major thing on my plate is designing Alfred's outfit… wait.' You thought, your mind slowly waking up to the fact that you were in the exact same building as Alfred. Your eyes widened as you comprehended what he might possibly do if he realizes you were not there to deliver anything, but replaced.
   Hearing the ding of the elevator confusion crossed your features, you knew it was too soon to be at the lobby, it was only moments ago you stepped onto the elevator. Panic gripped your heart though as you realized you were ignorant to the fact there was one other floor the elevator had to stop at before reaching the lobby, and it was the exact floor you used to deliver to.

   ~~~OHOHOHO I DUN KNOW WHAT TO WRITE HERE SO HI HOPE YOU'RE ENJOYIN THE STORY!~~~
   Stiff as a board you watched the elevator doors open slowly, almost seeming like forever. Then as you looked up you could have sworn your heart stopped. Your widened eyes fell upon Alfred, but it took you a few seconds to process he looked depressed, his head bowed down so he couldn't see you. For reasons unknown you let out what sounded like a whimper, debating if it was from your own emotions or your heart clenching at seeing his downcast face. Hearing you he looked up with dull eyes, and as you made eye contact they brightened in an instant. You watched somewhat amused as you visibly saw him gasp. Before you could say anything though he tackled you into a hug; shoving your petite frame against the back of the elevator. You could feel his chest vibrate as he laughed obnoxiously, watching the doors close behind you two.
   "Dude! You had me totally worried! I thought I got you fired! How come that girl replaced you today? Wait you didn't get fired, right?" Alfred asked in his usual excited tone, pulling you back to look in your face, concern evident on his. You almost couldn't contain your laughter as you realized he was sad over you. Never in a million years could you possibly think a celebrity would ever care for your well-being this much.
   "Actually, I was moved to head designer because of you" you said giggling. With that Alfred's face became even brighter if possible.
   "THAT'S AWESOME! This totally calls for a celebration dude!" Alfred happily shouted, the ominous ding of the elevator following his statement. You were confused by what he meant, and your eyes widened as he then proceeded to drag you out of the elevator.
   "W-wait what are you doing? You're heading for the front door! Don't you care about paparazzi!?" you yelled, making him stop. He just turned to you with his trademark grin on his face.
   "I'm treating you for lunch of course! I said I wanted to celebrate! Oh and thanks, I completely forgot about those guys for a second…" the celebrity said rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment. You just huffed at him, unsurprised that a guy like him would do such a thing.
   "Well I'm paying whether you like it or not so I couldn't care, and I have a better idea on how to get out of here" you retorted smugly, turning and walking towards the door that led to the back of the building, not waiting for Alfred.
   ~~~OH LOOKIE ANOTHER TIME SKIP! AHAHA ANYONE SEE AVENGERS YET!? FRIGGEN AMAZIN! XD~~~

   Almost getting caught by a few journalists you and Alfred managed to make it out of the parking lot. You wondered where you were going though, Alfred said since it was his idea to 'celebrate' he would pick the place. You still didn't care considering you had a free hundred dollars to spend, so why not? You decided to let the goofball go crazy.  As of now you both listened to the radio, you idly looking out the window from time to time. "Okay, were here!" eagerly shouted the blue-eyed man. You jumped a bit since you spaced out for a good duration for the car ride. You looked up and your jaw almost dropped. He was bringing you to the Hamilton, one of the most famous and expensive restaurants in town. The ass was trying to not get you into paying. You knew from watching television he was always getting fast food, meaning he wasn't just going here for no reason. You only knew this because his visits to the golden arches (the only fast food place he ever went to) were being broadcasted many times, mainly from the fact of the hefty tips he left to the lucky employee. You still don't know if he did that to be cocky, or just because he was that nice or naive. That was also the reason why as he parked you didn't let it show that you were pissed or shocked, but happy.
   "Oh my gosh, this place is amazing!" you shouted as you got out of the car. Alfred let out what seemed to be a forced chuckle and followed you as you entered the building. You knew that your meal was definitely not going to be cheap the moment you entered. The floors were made of marble, along with the columns, gold trim was seen in just the right places, and you almost felt like you would faint upon seeing the fountain in the middle of the main room. It was so big the person who owned the restaurant even put real, live fish in it. To say you were amazed was an understatement. As Alfred came behind your form and slung his arm around your shoulders he somehow didn't notice your amazed state, and the fact you were blushing from such close contact. 'Thank God this guy is so blunt!' you thought as he then followed the person who was waiting you. On the journey to your seats you wondered why none of the staff was freaking out over Alfred, but looking around a bit more it occurred to you they probably get people like Alfred all the time. Realizing you were also being led to a more secluded section just assured your assumption. You soon then found yourself in a booth sitting in front of Alfred, looking down into a side garden of the restaurant.
   "Hey, you okay there, (name)?" asked Alfred. Realizing you were just staring out the window for a while you chuckled as you snapped back to reality.
   "Y-yeah, haha, this place is just very nice…" you said picking up the menu, hiding your face from embarrassment. 'Very nice?! Out of all the adjectives I know that's all I can think of? He must think I'm a space case or something! Wait why do I even care this much! Ughh!' You thought again in frustration. Alfred on the other hand watched with a smirk as you buried your face in the menu, unbeknownst to you he knew exactly what you were thinking. He just acted blunt all the time to keep his act up, he was an actor after all, it was to be expected.
   "Since you're paying do you care what I get?" Alfred asked innocently. Too focused on hiding yourself you didn't catch the mischief in his voice.
   "No, get whatever you want" you said trying to figure out what you would even felt like. Everything was so expensive, and you were just so hungry, you had no idea on what to do.
   "Okay then I'll get the king crab legs!" he shouted happily. You almost choked on your own air, you happened to be looking in that same section and the meal he wanted cost almost a hundred dollars. Since you knew you had no other money on you except for your gift card, (you left the rest upstairs locked away for safe keeping) you had no other choice.
   "Alrighty then, but I don't think I'm going to get anything, I-I'm not that hungry anyway, and it's just too hard to decide" you said hoping he wouldn't notice your lie. He just stared at you, and you almost thought he was analyzing you for a second until he burst out laughing. Confused beyond belief and now having your ears go red from everyone staring at you from the celebrity's outburst, you tried to calm him down. "A-Alfred calm dow-" you started, but he cut you off.
   "Dude you don't have to get anything cause my meal is so expensive!" he yelled trying to suppress his laughter. You would have made a rather un-lady like retort back at his comment but you never had the chance as a waitress came to take your order.
   "I can see you two are having fun! I'm guessing you both have decided what you want then?" the lady said, and you could tell she was indirectly telling Alfred to shut up by the forced smile on her face. But of course Alfred didn't care to acknowledge it.
   "Yup! I'll need two orders of the king crab legs! One for me and this little lady right here!" Alfred said gesturing to you. Hearing the words leave his mouth you panicked, immediately objecting to the idea, but unfortunately you could only form stutters instead of actual words. Your eyes widened when the waitress nodded in understanding and left, only leaving you to watch her back as she walked away. "That's totally cool with you, right? You said to get anything~" Alfred said still with the underlying mischievous tone.
   "Y-yeah…" you managed to squeak out, but in your mind you wondered what the hell you were thinking. 'WHAT AM I SAYING!? THIS IS NOT OK! ALMOST A HUNDRED BUCKS? AND THEN DESSERT!? Curse you pride!' you thought angrily.
   "Are you sure? We can always ask to-" Alfred said, but now you cut him off.
   "No no no no! It's fine! We're celebrating right?!" you frantically said to try and cover up your panic. Alfred just smugly looked back at you.
   "Okie dokie darlin~" the celebrity said in his southern drawl. You just sighed as he laughed, once again annoying the people eating around you.

   ~~~ LE TIME SKIP OF AWESOMENESS HAS ARRIVED AND THIS STORY IS SO LONG I'M SO SORRY!~~~
   When the food finally came you could barely eat any of it anyway, it was as if your hunger went away along with any dignity you had left when you realized you would have to borrow money from Alfred. It didn't matter though if you ate yours or not, since you were reminded of how big Alfred's appetite was. The meal consisted of fifty crab legs*1, but Alfred plucked clean all of his along with twenty-five of yours, (the other twenty five you ate yourself). So you didn't have to worry about bringing anything home at least. As you spotted the waitress coming back with the check you were surprised Alfred didn't ask for dessert, but didn't question it as she left. Taking the little piece of paper you almost blanched, somehow you miscalculated, for it said your total was almost THREE hundred instead of two. You failed in trying to compose yourself, and the celebrity seemed to notice.
   "Hey you don't look too good (nickname), you've been acting weird since we've met too, you're not getting sick are you?" Alfred asked, this time in general concern. 'If anything love sickness' you thought humorously.
   "Y-yup, perfectly fine, I just need to use t-the rest room" you said thinking on impulse getting up from the table, unknowingly leaving your phone. Luckily when you entered the restroom no one was in there so you yelled out in frustration, almost kicking over the cart full of perfume by the door*2. "Why am I acting like this!? You shouted to your own reflection. You ran your hands through your hair, extremely distressed. You were a very prideful person, so it wasn't like you could just go up to Alfred and asked for two hundred dollars. It just couldn't happen, and he would know for sure you couldn't pay when you would have to give your credit card number to the waitress when she got back. You were about to have another hissy fit when another lady walked in, making you freeze and turn around, pretending to check yourself in the mirror. When she finally walked into one of the stalls you quietly let out a breath, and thinking you were in here for a while you decided to not keep the celebrity waiting any longer, so with your head held high you walked out of the bathroom towards your booth. Your courageous walk faltered though upon seeing an empty table waiting for you save for your purse and phone. Wondering where the man-child could have run off to you picked up your phone, noticing it had been moved, and were a bit taken aback seeing money underneath it. Lifting your phone up you were shocked to find the money you left Alfred last week and then some. Turning on your phone you apparently also had a new message, but you don't remember texting anyone. Checking to see who it was you gasped, then growled in anger. When you were 'going to the bathroom' Alfred had gone into your phone adding himself, and he left you a message as well,
   -Hey (Name!) I'm waiting outside so hurry up! And I paid for the meal so you can stop worrying, and you should also stop leaving your money around, you left fifty bucks on my nightstand last week!
   You read from your phone. Instead of flipping out and having a panic attack, (which you would probably do if it was normal circumstances) you just smiled. He knew the whole time and you failed to notice, he was getting more interesting by the second. As you collected your things there was no denying it, you had definitely fallen in love with the one and only Alfred F. Jones. You couldn't understand how in one week your whole life was turning around from meeting this one man. It was as if he truly was a hero, saving you from your wretched boss, a low-paying job, mundane life, oh and getting raped (you still wondered how he managed to find you, but you decided to ask him about that another day). You would also never be able to understand why Alfred wanted to keep seeing you again, but for now you just decided to not question it. In fact you were even going to thank him for all his kindness, but as you started to walk away you got another message from Alfred.
   -Dude I gotta pee! Hurry up!
   You sighed at his childish behavior, giggling as you went through the front doors. On second thought, it can wait.
I'M SO SORRY FOR THE WAIT!!!!
I shall not bore you with my excuses. :saddummy:
Now that's out of the way, first of all I apologize for any confusion! I think this chapter might end up with you wondering what the heck I was doing XD But other than that this has been the longest chapter so far, so yay!! And PLEASE tell me if Alfred is really OOC cause I think I totally made him on accident ... pooh. And also I love all your guys ideas so far, so please don't be shy to add in some of your own info!
1. Usually when you order crab legs that's how much you get on average, and it may seem like alot but most of the time there's barely any meat XP stupid economy.
2. In fancy restaurants/places many bathrooms have little carts full of perfume and lotion and what not cause fancy places gotta be sophisticated~ :dummy: sometimes they even have people in the bathroom too, but I thought that was creepy (who wants to hear you go to the bathroom? O.O) so I didn't write that lol.
If you already knew this then awesome, if not, you learn something new everyday~ :iconhappymeowplz:
